Since I'm a working person and usually get home around 6 p.m., I've been looking for something that could help me drawing under artificial light conditions. Getting a right kind of lightbulb and perhaps a lamp too became quite a good idea lately. But since I'm really confused with what the shops offer, I'd like to use this opportunity to ask YOU about your experience with this, if you have some.
I know I'm looking for a light bulb which produces a soft warm/neutral daylight and does not shift the colors. I know 6500 K is a usual daylight temperature but mostly it's described as cool daylight, so I figured out 5000-5500 K would be warmer and thus better.
I don't want to experiment as some cheaper ones as I know some of them can shift some color tones a bit (possibly depends on the technology?). Also I don't want to experiment with LED as I don't believe the technology has advanced that much to produce quality light.
Any ideas on how to recognize a good lightbulb for drawing/painting?
